This Privacy Policy explains how Norma collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our platform — whether as a client making a booking or a business owner managing appointments.
Norma ("we", "us", "our") is a booking platform operating at normabooking.app, based in Cyprus. We provide online appointment booking services for service businesses and their clients. You can contact us at hello@normabooking.app or by calling +357 99 211 705.
When a client makes a booking, we collect: full name, email address, phone number (optional), and any notes provided. When a business owner creates an account, we collect: business name, owner name, email address, phone number, and business details. We also collect standard technical data such as IP addresses and browser information for security and analytics purposes.
We use your data to: process and confirm appointments, send booking confirmation and reminder emails, send SMS notifications (where enabled), allow business owners to manage their bookings, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform: Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (SMS delivery), and Vercel (hosting). All providers are bound by data processing agreements. We may disclose data if required by law.
Booking data is retained for 2 years from the date of the appointment. Business account data is retained for the duration of the subscription plus 90 days after cancellation. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Under GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to or restrict processing, and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@normabooking.app. We will respond within 30 days.
We use only essential cookies required for the platform to function (authentication sessions). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable steps to protect your data.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
